Ghost Box Research

The argument has been made that Thomas Edison was working on a ghost communication device –
a ghost box of sorts, to contact the dead. However, there are many Edison experts that would
argue that it was only legend, a myth that is untrue. They will point out that he neither believed
in the afterlife, nor did he believe spirits and ghosts could be contacted through an electronic
device. Whatever the truth behind, one has to believe it makes a good story and backdrop to
the ghost box. Even more intriguing, some today claim they are in contact with Thomas Edison
via the ghost box, but many respected researchers of the latest ghost box technology have
yet to make contact with the famous, dead inventor.

What is a Ghost Box?

It is a modified am/fm radio that continually sweeps either the AM or FM frequency bands.
While sweeping these bands you will hear background white noise and audio clips from existing
radio stations. It is believed that spirits can manipulate these items to form their own words.
The first ghost boxes was made by Frank Sumption, thus called "Franks Box", now there is a
radio shack hack, It began with the model 12-470 Now there are a lot of hacks for different models.

Understanding White Noise

White noise is a random signal (or process) with a flat power spectral density. In other words,
the signal contains equal power within a fixed bandwidth at any center frequency. White noise
draws its name from white light in which the power spectral density of the light is distributed
over the visible band in such a way that the eye's three color receptors (cones) are
approximately equally stimulated.

-Clip 1--Taken During Ghost Box Session It seems that we were being warned away right at the beginning of the night (The Clicks you hear in the beginning is the Investigator clearing pre-sets so the radio would scan.

-Clip 2--During the same session as above when asked if the entity was male or female it appears the Investigator did not Speak clearly enough for the entity

-Clip 3--During a Ghost Box session during the second rotation the Investigator asks if the entity knows there dead... Someone either attempts to confirm with a single word..."DEAD"

-Clip 4--It seems the entities aren't sure how many of them there are as they answer with three different numbers...or are they playing???

-Clip 5--The entities are asked if they know they are scaring the client...YES!!??

-Clip 6--It is obvious "they" are not happy when asked if they followed the client from her former residence.
